Infrastructure Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Dublin, Ireland or London, England, United Kingdom. Candidates must be located in the EU/UK or willing to relocate.

What you will do

• Design and implement secure multi-cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, Azure, hybrid cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Build secure Infrastructure as Code templates, container standards, Kubernetes controls, and cloud security automation.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and maintain code-scanning platforms and developer enablement workflows.
• Manage cloud identities, roles, security tools, policies, assessments, and compliance controls.
• Monitor and respond to security events, maintain SIEM data pipelines, and develop security dashboards and alerts.
• Own cloud security projects end to end, from identifying infrastructure risks to implementing and maintaining solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or related roles.
• Proficiency with at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure and experience securing hybrid, multi-cloud, or AWS/on-premises environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation, and scripting with Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes security, network security, IAM, compliance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
• Must be located in the EU/UK or willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CCSP, CSSK, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Deep Kubernetes and container security expertise, multi-cloud security experience, and custom cloud security tooling experience.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Karma, Wazuh, or similar security operations tools.
• Experience securing AI/ML workloads or applying AI to cloud security monitoring and automation.
• Background in banking, money transmission, P2P payments, or other regulated financial platforms.
