Design Engineer (Tissue Technology)

What you will do

• Create detailed drawings and technical documentation for purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly of tissue machines.
• Translate customer requirements into practical mechanical design solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, production teams, and pre-assembly functions.
• Support customer projects from design through delivery, including occasional travel.
• Develop, maintain, and improve products, machine sections, and components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in mechanical design.
• Experience and strong interest in mechanical product development and design engineering.
• Confident written and spoken English.
• Structured problem-solving approach, ownership, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience in the paper, tissue, or process industry.
