SE Mechanical Engineer (Automotive)

Designs and manufactures advanced driveline, transmission, vision, emissions control, safety, security, and monitoring technologies for commercial vehicles, automotive, off-highway, and agricultural vehicle manufacturers.

What you will do

• Support existing products in mass production through design improvements, modifications, and verification activities.
• Investigate production quality issues and implement corrective design changes.
• Create, manage, and maintain product designs and engineering documentation using Siemens NX, CAD, and Teamcenter PLM.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, project teams, suppliers, and customers to implement engineering changes.
• Improve design methodologies, engineering tools, and development processes.
• Share knowledge and develop technical expertise through hands-on collaboration.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, testing, and design validation.
• Knowledge of prototyping, material procurement, and engineering change management.
• Strong problem-solving skills; familiarity with 8D, A3, Lean, or Six Sigma is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of plastics, including injection molding, and metal components.
• Good written and spoken English is required.
