Treasury Analyst

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Onsite role; no travel or relocation.

What you will do

• Provide extensive support for treasury operations and escalate issues when required.
• Analyze moderately complex data related to cash management, foreign exchange, risk management, and treasury services.
• Participate in treasury projects and assist with executing treasury programs.
• Model and analyze capital markets, interest rate risk management, cash management, forecasting, and collateral management activities.
• Prepare cash flow projections, financial statements, financial reports, conclusions, recommendations, and written reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments on invoices, payment requests, cash transactions, and electronic funds transfer templates.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience, preferably in finance, audit, accounting, treasury, or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no work experience may also be considered.
• Ability to work independently on moderate-scope problems, apply professional expertise and judgment, and resolve issues according to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to stay current on regulatory requirements and market conditions affecting treasury operations and investment strategies.
