Global Supply Chain Data Scientist

Location: Singapore-Yishun

What you will do

• Develop and deploy analytics, automation, dashboards, predictive models, alerts, and scenario-planning tools for global logistics operations.
• Provide data-driven insights for warehouses, freight, distribution, and service-parts operations.
• Build logistics KPI views covering warehouse performance, freight analytics, productivity, operational health, and exception management.
• Develop control-tower analytics with early-warning indicators for delays, backlog, capacity risks, and throughput constraints.
• Automate insight generation and reduce manual reporting using Python, SQL, and BI tools.
• Lead cross-functional digital initiatives from concept through rollout, adoption, governance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Typically 8 or more years of experience in data science or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL and experience with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire, or similar BI tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work with program and project management discipline, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and experience managing large-scale enterprise projects.
• Experience in commercial supply planning and forecasting.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques and frameworks.
