IT Audit Manager (Crypto)

What you will do

• Perform hands-on technical audits of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, APIs, SDLC pipelines, network architecture, and wallet/custody systems.
• Review configurations, code, access controls, logs, system interfaces, architecture designs, security controls, and deployment pipelines.
• Execute the global IT audit programme and adapt audit scope to local regulatory and operational requirements across jurisdictions.
• Assess technology risks, emerging threats, regulatory changes, and architectural vulnerabilities through technical walkthroughs with Engineering, Security, DevOps, and Product teams.
• Prepare technical findings and audit reports, track remediation, and validate fixes for senior management and the Board Audit Committee.
• Support regulatory reviews, licensing audits, and independent assessments while sharing audit knowledge across global internal audit teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT audit experience in financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency exchange environments, with strong technical execution experience.
• Experience with infrastructure and network architecture, AWS or Tencent Cloud, IAM, cloud logging and monitoring, API security, secure coding, CI/CD controls, container security, and change management.
• Ability to assess system configurations, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, API specifications, logs, network traffic, and security testing results.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Experience coordinating cross-border stakeholders and working across cultures and time zones; CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital wallets, HSM, MPC, multi-signature systems, and cold, warm, or hot wallet architectures.
• Web3 and blockchain security experience, including smart contract auditing, on-chain monitoring, consensus mechanisms, and DeFi protocol risks.
• Familiarity with EU MiCA, UAE VARA, and other digital-asset regulatory frameworks.
• Experience using AI tools and data analytics to support audit execution.
