IT Auditor

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; hybrid/onsite

What you will do

• Conduct audits of Digital operations, applications, systems, projects, policies, processes, and controls.
• Evaluate cybersecurity, data privacy, change management, project management, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Assess business, strategic, cybersecurity, and operational risks with Digital management and process owners.
• Communicate audit status and findings and support management action plans addressing root causes.
• Support audits of business initiatives, software implementations, process redesigns, and special projects.
• Assist the Senior Auditor with risk assessments, audit planning, and coordination with the external auditing firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in external auditing, internal auditing, or an IT-related field; three or more years preferred.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA, PMP, or a similar certification, or the ability to meet the requirement within 24 months.
• Strong analytical, critical judgment, independent decision-making, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced college degree.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance or business risk assessment in a regulated environment.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
