Senior Product Engineer, Lifecycle Engineering (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Burlington, Canada; hybrid schedule with Monday–Thursday in the office and Friday remote. The posting header also lists Ottawa, ON.

What you will do

• Lead yield improvement and margin optimization initiatives across internal manufacturing sites and external suppliers.
• Own sustaining and lifecycle engineering from production ramp through end-of-life management.
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting quality, yield, and test performance using 8D and CAPA methodologies.
• Partner with Test, Design, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturability, cost efficiency, and test performance.
• Apply statistical data analysis and continuous improvement practices to support data-driven engineering decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in semiconductor product, test, or design engineering, preferably in sustaining or lifecycle roles.
• Strong experience in yield analysis, margin improvement, and cross-functional technical problem solving.
• Familiarity with ATE platforms such as Advantest or Teradyne, or equivalent bench test environments.
• Experience with statistical process control, data analysis, and design of experiments.
• Fluent professional English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience across global manufacturing sites and supplier networks.
• Experience with Excel, JMP, Galaxy, dataConductor, or similar analysis tools.
• Exposure to high-speed serial interfaces, video/datacom systems, or JEDEC/MIL quality standards.
• Strong documentation discipline and experience working in fast-paced production environments.
