Energy Project Developer

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $112,986.66–$181,200; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Lead complex energy, infrastructure, and facility modernization opportunities from qualification through contract execution.
• Coordinate engineering, design-build, estimating, operations, measurement and verification, sales, contractors, and customer stakeholders.
• Develop integrated solutions covering HVAC modernization, controls, electrification, sustainability, renewables, energy storage, resilience, and intelligent building technologies.
• Facilitate customer workshops and presentations to align operational needs, financial objectives, implementation requirements, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Build business cases, lifecycle cost analyses, project valuations, and funding strategies for customer investment decisions.
• Evaluate constructability, project phasing, subcontractor approaches, execution strategies, and delivery risks while applying analytics and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, business, construction management, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, energy services, construction, facilities management, building automation, controls, consulting, project management, infrastructure development, capital projects, or a similar field.
• Strong project leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Business and financial aptitude for evaluating project value and customer outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with facility modernization, capital improvement programs, ESPC, design-build delivery, infrastructure planning, estimating, contractor coordination, HVAC, controls, mission-critical or data center facilities, renewable energy, or sustainability initiatives.
• CEM, PMP, PE, DBIA, or LEED AP certification.
