Weekend Trader (Finance)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. The regular workweek includes Saturdays and/or Sundays.

What you will do

• Supervise and optimize the performance of algorithmic trading strategies.
• Manage intraday market and credit risk.
• Monitor basic back-office operations and site reliability.
• Communicate and coordinate with the global trading team.
• Work with software engineers to enhance and develop trading strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred; strong graduates may also be considered.
• 1–3 years of experience working at a financial institution.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, Java, or C++.
• Strong quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Dependable, trustworthy, self-motivated, and self-disciplined approach.
• Availability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays as regular working days.

Nice to have

• Prior trading experience.
