TL;DR

Desk Quant Analyst (Algorithmic Trading): Maintaining strategy codebases, managing research and production datasets, and monitoring automated trading activities with an accent on trading-system robustness, data readiness, and strategy performance. Focus on preparing market-opening processes, investigating live and historical behavior, and collaborating with Quantitative Researchers and Traders on systematic trading projects.

Location: London, Madrid, Montreal, Bangalore, Singapore, Hong Kong, or Warsaw

What you will do

Maintain and upgrade the codebase and configuration of strategies within the automated trading framework.
Manage large datasets across research and production environments.
Monitor live and historical trading activity, strategy behavior, and performance.
Check data and related processes before market open to ensure readiness for the trading day.
Develop longer-term projects that expand and improve the robustness of systematic trading activities.
Collaborate with Quantitative Researchers and Traders across multiple regions.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical subject.
Programming proficiency in at least one major programming or scripting language, such as C++, Java, or Python.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple regions and under pressure.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Q/KDB+.
Knowledge of Linux and Bash.
Advanced quantitative skills.
