Internship Quantitative Trading (Market Making) (m/f/x) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Gain hands-on experience in market making for equities, ETFs, and other ETPs on the European Investor Exchange.
• Create reports and firmwide market updates, and contribute research-based insights to committees.
• Analyze market data, automate data processing, and improve data visualization using programming skills.
• Support the design, backtesting, implementation, and optimization of trading algorithms and systems.
• Apply risk management practices and support regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with data teams, quantitative engineers, developers, and experienced traders.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD studies in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Programming proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using Pandas and NumPy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Demonstrable interest in financial markets, trading, and investment strategies.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English required.
