Director, Product Management, Platform Services (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; London, United Kingdom; Belgium. Local working hours must align with US East Coast business hours at least 3 days per week.

Annual base salary in the US: $184,000–$285,000, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and standards for ETL data processing, platform services, analytics models, and administrative experiences.
• Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers while directly steering complex and ambiguous initiatives.
• Drive modernization of legacy architecture and improve platform throughput, scalability, performance, retention, and governance.
• Expand Text Analytics beyond the core application so topics and models can support other products and AI agents.
• Own the applied ML portfolio, including Action Intelligence, Sentiment, Themes, and hybrid rule and ML topic modeling.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Research, Design, Reporting, Integrations, Apps, and language teams to productionize models, extend capabilities to new languages, and ensure a consistent customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise SaaS research and development experience focused on data, analytics, NLP, or ML/AI products and services.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience leading product managers, including hiring, coaching, and team development.
• Experience owning a complex technical platform or product domain end to end, from strategy through delivery.
• Understanding of NLP, text analytics, or ML models, including how they are built, evaluated, and maintained.
• Ability to align local working hours with US East Coast business hours for at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience leading enterprise-scale text analytics, NLP, applied ML, GenAI, or large language model products.
• Experience modernizing legacy platforms or re-architecting systems for scale and performance.
• Experience with ML and GenAI evaluation, annotation, quality frameworks, multilingual features, and localization.
• Experience with Customer Experience Management platforms, agile development, Productboard, or JIRA.
