Senior Factored Sourcing Engineer Edwards (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Cheonan, South Chungcheong, South Korea; international and domestic travel required.

What you will do

• Source new suppliers and factored items for manufactured components.
• Lead RFQs, quotations, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive cost-reduction projects, spend analysis, and procurement performance improvements.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and support supplier improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes, including supplier integration into front-end design.
• Manage joint development agreements and ensure commercial and contractual objectives are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management.
• More than five years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a multinational company and in strategic or global sourcing.
• Knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes for metal, plastic, mechanical, and electrical parts.
• Knowledge of cost analysis, value engineering, procurement processes, supply chain management, supplier quality procedures, SAP MM, MRP, and BOM.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills required.
