What you will do
- Own end-to-end functional testing across user interfaces, APIs, and database layers.
- Lead exploratory manual testing and maintain automated regression coverage.
- Build and maintain Java test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium for UI testing, plus REST Assured and Postman for API testing.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to surface failures early.
- Design and execute test plans for AI-powered features.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage defects in Jira, and improve testing processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer.
- Strong manual testing experience across UI and API, including exploratory testing and full-stack validation.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated regression coverage and test plans in agile environments.
- Proficiency with SQL, Java or another object-oriented language, and database validation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright, REST Assured, and Postman.
- B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or a related field, with strong communication and ownership of product quality.
Nice to have
- Experience testing AI-powered applications, including chatbots, assistants, or LLM- and ML-based systems.
- Familiarity with brokerage and investment concepts such as margin, options, account types, and trade lifecycle.
