Location: ACT (Amsterdam - Acanthus), with hybrid working. Enrollment at a Dutch university is mandatory, or at an EU university for EU passport holders.

hirify.global supports financial reporting and control activities for Wholesale Banking within ING Netherlands Finance.

What you will do

• Support monthly and quarterly analysis of balance-sheet and profit-and-loss movements.
• Investigate notable variances and prepare concise financial commentary.
• Assist with reconciliations, completeness checks, control activities, and review evidence.
• Collect, structure, validate, and document financial data with a clear audit trail.
• Coordinate follow-up items and prepare status updates and meeting materials for finance stakeholders.
• Complete an internship research project or professional product connected to a financial-control challenge.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial reporting, accounting, controls, and Wholesale Banking.
• Comfortable working with Excel; PowerPoint and data-analysis experience are advantageous.
• Accurate, structured, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Dutch is an advantage but not required.
• Must be enrolled at a Dutch university, or at an EU university if holding an EU passport. Confidential information must be handled responsibly.
