Projects Engineer - South - ICS Cool Energy Ltd (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom, five days per week

What you will do

• Provide technical advice and support to sales teams, customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on HVAC and process cooling projects.
• Manage procurement of equipment and subcontracted work, coordinating parts, resources, and responsibilities.
• Attend site visits and customer handovers, prepare costings and quotes, and confirm project scope and timelines.
• Develop project plans, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify design flaws during delivery.
• Manage industrial cooling system installations and commissioning, including engineers and site teams.
• Control project budgets and costs while ensuring contractual, quality, and health and safety requirements are met.

Requirements

• Intermediate-level project management experience with commercial experience.
• Experience as a Project Engineer is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Computer-Aided Design (CAD), a valid UK driver's licence, and the ability to travel nationally and internationally when required.
