Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure for large-scale production workloads.
• Operate multi-account AWS environments and production Kubernetes clusters, including provisioning, upgrades, autoscaling, networking, observability, and capacity planning.
• Build and manage Kubernetes ecosystem components such as CRDs, Helm, HPA, Cluster Autoscaler, CoreDNS, and Cluster API.
• Improve GitOps deployment workflows with FluxCD or ArgoCD and enhance Istio service mesh capabilities.
• Define reliability practices covering SLOs, error budgets, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-mortems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, observability, and operational workflows while collaborating with application engineering, architecture, security, and platform teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, platform engineering, SRE, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, including EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, networking, and security capabilities.
• Production Kubernetes experience covering cluster architecture, workload orchestration, networking, autoscaling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux administration, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Go, Python, GitOps, reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response.
• Willingness to participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA device plugins, GPU scheduling, or GPU workloads in Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure or Alibaba Cloud.
• CKA, CKAD, or CKS certification.
