Project Engineer - HPC (Nuclear)

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom; partial remote (hybrid), with site presence required Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager in delivering defined work packages at Hinkley Point C to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project activities, reporting progress, variances, actuals, and approved changes.
• Coordinate site teams, off-site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and Tier 1 contractors to secure materials, equipment, resources, and timely delivery.
• Support construction readiness and the delivery of engineering, fabrication, and installation activities on site.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RAMS, reports, procedures, meeting minutes, and commercial correspondence.
• Promote HSE and CDM compliance, apply quality management systems, and support risk and change control.

Requirements

• Experience supporting project delivery in a complex, highly regulated engineering or construction environment.
• Strong planning, coordination, leadership, and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to monitor schedule, cost, quality, risks, changes, and subcontractor performance.
• Ability to work on site at Hinkley Point C Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Completion of required SQEP development in line with site licence conditions.
