What you will do
- Assemble motor and actuator mechanical components according to engineering specifications.
- Wind, terminate, and connect motor coils and stator windings using assembly drawings.
- Install bearings, magnets, shafts, and encoder or sensor sub-assemblies with appropriate tooling.
- Apply adhesives, potting compounds, and thermal interface materials as required.
- Perform continuity, insulation resistance, back-EMF, visual, and functional testing.
- Record production data in the MES, escalate process deviations, and support rework, repair, and validation.
Requirements
- GED, high school diploma, or higher.
- Ability to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and documented work instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small, fine-pitch components.
- Accurate data recording, reliable attendance, and ability to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Nice to have
- At least one year of electronics assembly, laboratory, or related technician experience.
- PCB or wire soldering and electronics repair experience.
- Drone or UAS piloting experience.
- Familiarity with ESD procedures or an MES-driven production environment.
