Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Location: San Jose, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $143,000–$197,437.50 annual base pay, plus performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Architect and develop scalable, reliable PaaS and IaaS platforms for company-wide business needs.
• Build distributed systems for large-scale data storage, data processing, distributed deep learning, and simulation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve platform efficiency.
• Develop profiling tools that help engineers identify system bottlenecks.
• Build monitoring and introspection tools for rapid system analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of experience developing scalable, distributed, compute-intensive services and ETLs on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-native software architecture and development.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, LXC, and microservices.
