Senior Manager, Power Strategy

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; remote role

What you will do

• Identify power availability and long-term capacity for prospective data center sites.
• Support substation and transmission extension contracts, utility coordination, negotiations, and timeline optimization.
• Assist with energy origination, procurement, rate forecasting, supply contract performance, tariff analysis, and hedging.
• Develop renewable and carbon-free energy strategies, including renewable energy credit tracking and retirement.
• Analyze tariffs, commissioning usage, mock bills, and utility billing issues to reduce ratchet impacts.
• Communicate energy and sustainability initiatives across Sales, Construction, Operations, customer support, utilities, consultants, and clients.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in transmission, distribution, and energy supply origination or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a technical discipline.
• Experience with tariff analysis, utility contract reviews, negotiations, processes, and agreements.
• Experience with renewable and carbon-free power.
• Strong understanding of the transmission and distribution grid and its supply capacity.
• Financial or energy engineering experience, project management, and communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
