Location: Poland; hybrid format with meeting hubs in Warsaw, Poland and Kyiv, Ukraine

What you will do
- Define the technical direction, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Lead software architecture and system design for scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, the Scrum Master, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and support technical growth across the team.
- Resolve complex technical issues, address performance and scalability challenges, and serve as an escalation point.
- Document architecture and technical decisions while supporting automated testing, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience with Java.
- 2+ years of experience as a team lead.
- Architecture design and RESTful API design experience.
- Experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and a NoSQL database such as Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redshift, Bigtable, or BigQuery.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, AWS or GCP, and Grafana or Prometheus.
- Performance optimization experience.
