People Business Partner (HealthTech)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Amsterdam office; candidates must live within commuting distance in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Advise senior leaders and Leadership Team members on organizational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, and organizational health.
• Coach leaders on performance management, leadership effectiveness, feedback, development, and difficult people conversations.
• Manage complex employee relations cases, including performance improvement, conflict resolution, absence management, and sensitive exits.
• Drive People programs covering performance, engagement, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development.
• Use people data and insights to identify trends and recommend actions that improve engagement, retention, and organizational performance.
• Lead cross-functional People projects and partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations across the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or People Business Partner in a fast-growing international organization.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on organizational and people topics.
• Extensive experience with complex employee relations, performance management, and organizational change.
• Strong coaching, influencing, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, HealthTech, or scale-up environments is highly preferred.

• Experience with modern HR systems such as Personio.
• Experience supporting international teams.
