Senior Fullstack Engineer (Kotlin/Vue)

Location: Paris, with hybrid work. Remote work is available from France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, or the UK, where hirify.global has a physical office and legal entity.

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand user needs and shape product solutions.
• Own features end to end, from initial concept through release and ongoing improvement.
• Build and ship fullstack product capabilities while balancing speed, quality, and business impact.
• Work with backend architecture, APIs, data models, and modern frontend technologies.
• Improve engineering practices through pair programming, careful code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team mentoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD, testing, observability, and monitoring across the feature lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Previous experience in a product company, such as a SaaS, fintech, or marketplace business.
• Highly proficient in Java or Kotlin, with experience navigating complex backend architecture, APIs, and data models.
• Experience with TypeScript and willingness to learn Nuxt and Vue.js.
• Product Engineer mindset, autonomy, pragmatism, and ownership of delivery from start to finish.
• Fluent English required for communication in an English-speaking environment.

• Experience with SaaS, fintech, or marketplace products.
• Interest in modern architecture, technology watch, and applied AI coding workflows.

Hiring process

• 45-minute screening with Talent Acquisition.
• 75-minute Engineering Manager interview followed by a 90-minute technical homecase or livecase.
• 45-minute final interview with the VP of Engineering.
