Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Node.js/Java)

What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance, fault-tolerant backend systems and user-facing features using Node.js, Java, and other backend languages.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Own services and components end to end, from design and deployment through operations.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering on complex features serving global users.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, Agile ceremonies, and engineering improvement initiatives.
• Identify and address performance, reliability, and maintainability issues while sharing technical knowledge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript proficiency with NestJS, Express, Fastify, or a similar modern backend framework.
• Expertise in Java or another backend language, such as Scala, Kotlin, Go, C/C++, Rust, or Python.
• Solid TypeScript and React skills for implementing and maintaining features in a Next.js codebase.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caches, queues, messaging, API design, automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and Agile development.
