Focus on diagnosing signal integrity, timing, communication, and reliability issues, developing system-level test procedures, and supporting field testing and hardware revisions.

What you will do
- Integrate electrical subsystems, including motor drivers, sensors, cameras, networking, and power systems.
- Perform system bring-up, debugging, and validation during prototype and production phases.
- Debug systems spanning Linux-based platforms and STM32 firmware.
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other laboratory equipment to diagnose power, signal integrity, timing, and communication issues.
- Develop test procedures for electrical, communication, and system-level validation, and support field testing.
- Build and maintain test fixtures, harnesses, and automation tools while collaborating with hardware and software engineers to improve robustness and testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware bring-up, integration, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other laboratory instrumentation.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware debugging, and Linux command-line environments.
- Experience with CAN, Ethernet, RS-422/485, UART, and I²C interfaces.
- Basic scripting or programming ability in Python or C/C++, with an understanding of real-time constraints and hardware-software integration.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-power, motor-driven, or battery-based systems.
- Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop or system-level test environments.
- Knowledge of Yocto or Ubuntu-based embedded Linux platforms.
- Understanding of EMI, EMC, field reliability, and intermittent system-level failures.
- Experience with field testing or operational deployments.
