Staff Software Engineer (Backend)

What you will do

• Design and build a new agent-based order workflow.
• Evolve Order Management and Order Allocation systems.
• Enable merchants to customize order processing, routing, and fulfillment across use cases and markets.
• Work on high-scale, mission-critical distributed systems and platform architecture.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and leadership levels while providing technical input and pushback.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Experience working in high-scale, mission-critical environments.
• Ability to handle ambiguous problems and help shape solutions.
• Clear communication and effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Confidence providing technical input and constructive technical pushback.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, messaging systems, and .NET/C#.
• Experience or interest in AI and agent-based systems.
