What you will do
- Operate, monitor, and adjust Kiefel machines through HMI controls and manual adjustments.
- Load production supplies and secure finished products for shipment.
- Perform scheduled quality checks, inspect finished bags, identify deviations, and stop production when required.
- Execute material changeovers, troubleshoot machine inefficiencies, and escalate safety, quality, or mechanical issues.
- Document manufacturing information in logs and the POMS system, and test, inspect, and package inter-plant shipping orders.
- Apply SOPs, cGMP requirements, and 6S principles while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1β2 years of production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
- Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.
- Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions with words and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
- Proficiency with calculators, calipers, snap gauges, rulers, and basic hand tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk continuously throughout the shift.
