Production Technician I, Kiefel (7:00am-7:00pm)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and adjust Kiefel machines through HMI controls and manual adjustments.
• Load production supplies and secure finished products for shipment.
• Perform scheduled quality checks, inspect finished bags, identify deviations, and stop production when required.
• Execute material changeovers, troubleshoot machine inefficiencies, and escalate safety, quality, or mechanical issues.
• Document manufacturing information in logs and the POMS system, and test, inspect, and package inter-plant shipping orders.
• Apply SOPs, cGMP requirements, and 6S principles while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
• Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.
• Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions with words and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
• Proficiency with calculators, calipers, snap gauges, rulers, and basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk continuously throughout the shift.
