What you will do
- Manage ACMA, DSO, and selected international radiofrequency licences, authorisations, equipment approvals, and exemptions.
- Advise Engineering, Product, Operations, and Legal teams on lawful RF equipment operation during development, testing, demonstrations, and customer deployments.
- Review ACMA requirements for devices operating in regulated frequency bands and align design decisions with applicable rules.
- Oversee conformity-assessment testing documentation, laboratory results, device classifications, Statements of Compliance, and technical files.
- Maintain compliance registers, prepare management reports, and develop RF-related guidance, SOPs, checklists, and training.
- Engage with ACMA, accredited test facilities, legal advisers, and industry bodies, and support audits, inspections, inquiries, and regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Experience with Australian and international radiocommunications regulations, spectrum frameworks, or technical compliance regimes.
- Strong understanding of RF systems, communications equipment, EMC/EME exposure obligations, and device compliance pathways.
- Ability to interpret and apply ACMA rules, standards, and legislation.
- Strong documentation, record-keeping, compliance-management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
