TL;DR
Solution Architect for Cloud Communication (Cloud Architecture/Automotive): Defining system architectures and communication solutions for autonomous driving products with an accent on high-scale protocols, customer requirements, and ASPICE-compliant engineering. Focus on designing MQTT, WebSocket, and REST API integrations, deriving system and software requirements, and coordinating multiple projects across engineering and customer-facing teams.
Location: Hybrid in Petah Tikva, Israel, with work from the Jerusalem site required 1 day per week. Part-time work from other sites may be possible subject to seat availability.

What you will do
- Engage directly with customers to understand needs, analyze requirements, and tailor communication solutions.
- Define system architecture and derive system and software requirements aligned with hardware and software capabilities.
- Develop consolidated timelines for multiple projects and prioritize product features.
- Collaborate with software architects, developers, and project managers to drive product delivery.
- Apply ASPICE standards to system requirements, architecture, and software requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in technical product management, systems engineering, or solution architecture.
- Deep understanding of high-scale communication protocols, including MQTT, WebSockets, and REST API design.
- Experience with systems engineering and requirements management processes and methodologies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate with customers, partners, and senior leadership.
- Accountability, independence, initiative, customer focus, and willingness to travel as needed.
Nice to have
- Automotive industry experience.
- Experience bridging embedded systems or Linux environments with cloud backends.
