Principal Engineer - Revenue Management & Intelligence (AI)

Location: Remote role based in Guadalajara, Mexico

What you will do

• Shape future-proof interfaces for client-facing teams and build new product features with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other partners.
• Lead large cross-functional engineering projects with significant business impact.
• Debug production issues across services and stack layers while improving system observability and reliability.
• Own architecture decisions across multiple teams and drive long-term technical strategy.
• Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers and promote engineering excellence across the organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience building distributed systems or platform infrastructure for high-scale, data-intensive workloads.
• Expert-level Java or comparable object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP, including Kubernetes clusters, serverless architectures, and managed services.
• Experience designing distributed data infrastructure with Kafka or Kinesis, Redis or Memcached, database optimization, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, data warehouse modeling, and complex query optimization.
• Experience with infrastructure tooling, service frameworks, observability platforms, performance optimization, cost management, and scaling high-throughput APIs.
