Engineering Specialist (Sputter Process)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore; onsite role with a 12-hour night-shift pattern from 7:30pm to 7:45am.

What you will do

• Provide engineering support to the hard disk media production line and ensure compliance with process flows, specifications, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor process variables, make required adjustments, and troubleshoot routine or minor production issues.
• Perform process buy-offs after preventive maintenance or equipment breakdowns.
• Document manufacturing processes and report production data during shift handovers.
• Conduct or support process-improvement experiments and drive continuous improvement of OEE.
• Train and certify new manufacturing staff and assist with audit preparation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Self-motivated, positive, collaborative, and capable of solving problems effectively.
• Willingness to work in a clean-room environment and on a 12-hour night-shift pattern from 7:30pm to 7:45am.
• Relevant manufacturing-industry experience is advantageous.
