Sr Associate Engineer, Process Engineering (F8 Litho)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite at the GF Malaysia office. The role requires 12-hour day/night shift rotation and flexibility to support overtime.

What you will do

• Review and analyze SPC/FDC charts according to module control action systems and standard operating procedures.
• Review setup data and release tools in compliance with SOPs.
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide accurate pass-downs for tool, process, and line problems, including inhibits and lot disposition.
• Support engineers in qualification activities, process improvement projects, and new process and equipment qualification.
• Coordinate with process, equipment, technician, manufacturing engineering, and other module teams to meet operational objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on process robustness, cost efficiency, and manufacturing capacity.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, Chemical Process Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• 1–2 years of work experience in the electrical or electronics industry.
• Ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts and support overtime.
• Good communication, teamwork, initiative, accountability, and willingness to learn new skills.
