Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET/Python)

Location: Billund Project House, Denmark; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop and maintain modular, testable, deployable software solutions using C#/.NET, AvaloniaUI, and Python.
• Build tools that help developers create technology-enabled hirify.global experiences while improving developer experience.
• Drive software quality through code reviews, unit testing, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Automate development pipelines and develop toolchains that improve developer efficiency.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design loosely coupled IT solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and take ownership of software through the “You build it, you run it, you own it” approach.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing software with C#/.NET, including performance and scalability optimization.
• Comfort navigating C and C++ codebases.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, development pipeline automation, developer toolchains, and Docker.
• Ability to contribute to software architecture discussions and connect solutions across a tool portfolio.
• Understanding of security and data privacy, with experience working with cloud endpoints and backend integration.
• Ability to work from the assigned primary workplace in Billund with the hybrid office policy.

Nice to have

• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Python scripting experience for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud services and backend integration.
