Internal Audit Associate (Fintech)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; travel to remote branch locations may be required.

What you will do

• Execute internal audit projects through planning, fieldwork, reporting, and action-plan monitoring.
• Update and refine internal audit methodologies.
• Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to improve compliance and implement system or process improvements.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant work units.
• Manage preparation for ISO 27001:2022 implementation at CFG and help ensure execution without major findings.
• Coordinate with external auditors from regulators, vendors, and consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Law, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, field audit, operational risk, or fraud and misconduct investigations.
• Strong knowledge of branch and head-office operations, including KYC, onboarding, credit applications, and collections.
• Strong analytical, investigative, report-writing, documentation, and data-validation skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field and travel to remote branch locations.
• Fluency in Indonesian is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, or consumer finance.
• Understanding of Indonesian regulations for fintech companies and financial institutions.
• Experience with data validation tools or mobile-based audit platforms.
• English proficiency.
