Lead Engineer, Platform Tools (C/C++/C#/.NET)

Location: Billund Project House, Denmark; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop and maintain modular, testable, deployable, and maintainable software tools for interactive hirify.global products.
• Build developer tools using C# .NET, AvaloniaUI, Python, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer experience and enable technology-driven hirify.global experiences.
• Automate development pipelines and toolchains to improve engineering efficiency and software quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design loosely coupled IT solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote ownership through the “you build it, you run it, you own it” approach.

Requirements

• Comfortable navigating C and C++ codebases.
• Professional software development experience with C# .NET, including performance and scalability optimization.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, automated development pipelines, and Docker.
• Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and understand security and data privacy.
• Experience working with cloud endpoints and backend integration.

Nice to have

• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Python scripting experience for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud services and backend integration.
