Manufacturing Technician II, Inspection (Nights) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: Onsite in West Chester, Ohio, USA

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and monitor automated inspection equipment, reintroduce materials, manually palletize inspected products, and maintain product flow.
• Perform visual, cosmetic, and physical inspections and escalate quality concerns.
• Start up equipment, make minor adjustments, clear jams, troubleshoot, and support cleaning-related assembly and disassembly.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, logs, mathematical calculations, and OEE data collection.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, line clearance, material handling, and safety activities in controlled and non-classified areas.
• Support 5S, Kaizen, problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-functional work as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP-regulated environment.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Must obtain and maintain visual inspection qualification.
• Ability to learn required skills and certifications, work effectively in a team, and adapt to a changing, demanding environment.
• Some overtime may be required with limited advance notice.

Nice to have

• Prior production or pharmaceutical inspection experience.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies and procedures.
• Experience with SAP inventory movements and management.
