Lead Embedded Systems Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $138,700–$190,700 per year; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Own the security roadmap for core GNSS receivers and define security standards for embedded products.
• Design and implement secure workflows, security frameworks, and networking protocols.
• Identify system weaknesses, document vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation with global engineering teams.
• Define software architectures deployable across multiple operating systems.
• Translate security requirements into high-performance product features with Product Marketing and hirify.global divisions.
• Coordinate secure communication between embedded products, the hirify.global Cloud team, and international R&D hubs.

Requirements

• Significant experience developing embedded systems with C/C++ and real-time operating systems.
• Working knowledge of RTOS primitives, including mutexes, semaphores, and task priorities.
• Expertise in embedded cybersecurity, secure workflows, and defensive security measures.
• Deep understanding of networking and communication protocols.
• Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux and multiple Linux distributions.
• Ability to communicate security requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with GNSS or high-precision positioning technology.
• Knowledge of secure cloud-to-device integration.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems into next-generation software architectures.
