Quality & Product Assurance Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Barcelona, Spain; office/lab attendance is required at least 2–3 days per week, with longer consecutive periods during qualification test campaigns. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Spain.

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance across full programme lifecycles, from design and development through launch.
• Manage non-conformances, NRB activities, corrective actions, and flight-readiness requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits and qualification activities across the supply chain.
• Support internal and customer audits, readiness reviews, and certification processes.
• Drive measurable quality improvements using KPIs, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, ECSS, AS9100, or equivalent.
• Experience with non-conformance handling, NRB, CAPA, and configuration management.
• Ability to ensure quality in complex, high-precision manufacturing or space systems.
• Engineering background in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers, auditors, suppliers, and customers.
• Legal right to work in Spain and availability for regular onsite work in Barcelona are required.
