Revenue Controller (Crypto Finance)

Location: Asia; work-from-home arrangement, subject to the business team's requirements

What you will do

• Serve as a functional expert in revenue accounting for crypto products.
• Ensure accurate revenue recording and recognition in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze revenue streams and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage month-end close reporting, reconciliations, and periodic financial reports.
• Support audits, statutory filings, regulatory filings, and IFRS revenue recognition policy development.
• Lead financial systems implementation, automation, process improvements, and scalability initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of combined industry, financial services, and Big Four public accounting experience, including at least 4 years in revenue accounting or controllership.
• Bachelor's degree and a qualified accountant certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA.
• Experience with international accounting and proficiency in IFRS.
• Knowledge of business combinations, derivatives, hedging, NFTs, payment services, and complex blockchain products.
• Experience designing operational controls and processes in a highly regulated environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or a similar ERP, plus Excel, SQL, Tableau, or comparable data analysis tools.
