Accounts Payable Specialist

What you will do

• Process vendor invoices with accurate coding, approvals, documentation, and timely payment.
• Review, validate, and reimburse employee travel and expense reports.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and escalate non-compliant expenses.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready AP and T&E records with clear audit trails.
• Prepare reports and transaction-level support for internal and external audits.
• Support month-end close through accruals, account reconciliations, variance explanations, and responses to vendor and employee inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and documentation.
• Understanding of internal controls and audit processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with T&E systems such as Concur or Expensify.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Familiarity with corporate credit card programs and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume processing environment.
