Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus stock options, benefits, and additional perks.

What you will do

• Plan, scope, and deliver complex customer implementations, managing blockers, timelines, escalations, and launch readiness.
• Act as the technical escalation point for integrations and custom implementation issues, debugging complex problems and designing robust solutions.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, translate ambiguous requirements into scoped stories, and communicate technical trade-offs.
• Influence implementation architecture, product feedback, feature prioritization, and roadmap decisions across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.
• Create delivery playbooks, onboarding processes, internal training, and technical mentorship for junior forward deployed engineers.
• Write and debug production and integration code in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management.
• Deep expertise across multiple product domains, with the ability to debug complex integrations and build custom solutions.
• Strong communication skills for leading discovery sessions, managing client expectations, presenting technical trade-offs, and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers, creating documentation and playbooks, and improving internal processes.
• Coding competency in SQL, JavaScript, and Python, with the ability to coordinate multiple customer timelines concurrently.
