Software Engineer - Mobile (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and develop hirify.global’s mobile applications.
• Build and ship React Native features for iOS and Android from concept through production.
• Translate product requirements and designs into maintainable interfaces and robust business logic.
• Own mobile performance and reliability, including rendering, memory usage, and startup time.
• Implement and maintain native modules and bridges using Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java when platform-specific capabilities are required.
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including production React Native experience.
• Expertise in testable, maintainable, and extensible architecture, along with knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and antipatterns.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance fundamentals and production debugging.
• Working knowledge of native iOS and Android development with Swift/Objective-C and/or Kotlin/Java.
• Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with Product, Design, and Backend teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with secure authentication, token lifecycle management, secure storage, and threat-aware mobile practices.
• Experience with profiling tools such as Flipper, Xcode Instruments, or Android Studio Profiler.
• Experience with mobile end-to-end testing tools such as Detox or Appium.
• Experience building native modules and working with platform APIs.
• Exposure to fintech and payment features such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, tokenization, 3DS, and strong customer authentication.
