What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain iOS and React Native signup, onboarding, identity-verification, and level-upgrade flows.
- Define React Native architecture patterns and standards for the Registration Squad's mobile surfaces.
- Integrate and maintain identity-verification and biometric SDKs such as Incode and Jumio, including upgrades, migrations, and incident response.
- Write clean, well-tested mobile code, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues through root-cause analysis and lasting fixes.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and backend engineering to translate regulatory requirements and user needs into mobile solutions, while mentoring other engineers.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping React Native mobile applications at scale, with strong depth in native iOS development.
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party SDKs, especially identity-verification or biometric providers.
- Experience designing testable, maintainable, and resilient mobile architectures for rapidly iterated products.
- Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous flows, and interactions between mobile state and backend systems.
- Strong written and spoken English is required for communication with engineering, product, and senior leadership.
- High autonomy, ownership, urgency, and comfort working in a regulated fintech environment where security, compliance, and user trust are critical.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with KYC/AML flows, identity-verification providers such as Incode, Jumio, or IDWall, or onboarding funnels for regulated financial products.
