TL;DR
QA Engineer (REST API): Building robust automated testing frameworks and end-to-end test strategies for mobile and API products serving millions of users with an accent on automation, reliability, and performance. Focus on integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, executing manual and load testing, resolving complex defects, and improving code quality across feature development.
Location: Hybrid in Manila, Philippines; requires working from the Manila office 2 days per week.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks and custom tools integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Translate product and engineering requirements into end-to-end test strategies, test plans, and high-impact test cases.
- Perform manual, performance, and stress testing to validate system reliability under heavy load.
- Own the bug-tracking lifecycle, collaborating with developers to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify complex defects.
- Participate in code reviews and feature development to improve code quality and testability.
- Manage test environments and data while using metrics to improve the testing lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile and/or REST API manual testing.
- 3+ years of experience in REST API automation using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience serving as a technical leader in QA.
- Experience working in an Agile Continuous Delivery team.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps in cloud platforms such as Azure.
