Business Optimization Manager - Payments (Fintech)

Location: Mexico City, hybrid with an expectation of working onsite three days per week

What you will do

• Manage local relationships with acquirers, issuers, card schemes, and local payment method partners.
• Develop effective collaboration models with payment ecosystem stakeholders to support smooth transaction processing.
• Analyze partner performance, including declines, conversion rates, and authorization rates.
• Collaborate with product, risk management, partnerships, customer support, and technical teams to resolve performance issues.
• Use A/B testing and partner insights to improve transaction ahirify.globalval processes.
• Support the launch of products and features that enhance payment performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.
• Proven experience working with payment partners such as acquirers, issuers, or card schemes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the payment processing lifecycle, card scheme rules, and compliance requirements.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts and performance metrics into business impact.
• Fluent English and the ability to work onsite in Mexico City three days per week.
