Risk Analyst Junior+ / Middle (Credit Card)

Location: Relocation to Mexico required; hybrid or full-time work from the Mexico office

What you will do

• Manage, monitor, and improve credit card risk strategies and limit policies.
• Apply ML and AI models to maximize product profitability.
• Develop and manage the product NPV model.
• Partner with business teams on product and origination processes, product conditions, tariffs, and acquisition-channel profitability.
• Design, test, and validate hypotheses related to process changes and additional features.
• Build fast, scalable analytical frameworks and reporting tools.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience in risk or product analytics.
• Degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, economics, or computer science.
• Experience with databases and strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Strong analytical skills, mathematical statistics, probability, and basic machine learning knowledge.
• English at B1 level or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of retail risk management, adverse selection, vintage and portfolio analysis, and retail lending metrics.
• Understanding of credit card unit economics and product dependencies.
• Knowledge of advanced machine learning concepts and approaches.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
