Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico — hybrid work model. Regular office presence is expected, especially during ramp-up or when required by the leader.

What you will do

• Manage daily operational tasks and coordinate execution across teams using Slack and Google Drive.
• Support customer onboarding through KYC, KYB, and AML checks in line with internal policies and financial regulations.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate operational systems, records, and documentation.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Generate operational performance reports, monitor KPIs, and escalate delays or concerns.
• Collaborate with customer service, risk, and finance teams to resolve issues and maintain efficient workflows.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet formulas, filters, tables, and pivot tables, plus the ability to create clear presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
• Interest or experience in using AI tools to automate and improve workflows.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Mexico City.

Nice to have

• Experience in administrative, customer service, or operations roles.
• Basic knowledge of financial regulations and compliance policies.
• Analytical experience with spreadsheets, SQL, Python, or Metabase.
