What you will do

• Lead the integration of acquired healthcare service businesses into a unified accounting and reporting structure.
• Lead preparation for the company’s first financial audit in 2026, including controls and external auditor management.
• Design a scalable multi-entity consolidation and reporting model covering intercompany transactions, multiple states, and healthcare revenue streams.
• Standardize the chart of accounts, entity structure, and reporting dimensions to improve visibility into unit economics and contribution margins.
• Own the accounting systems architecture and lead the transition to a modern ERP, including integrations with billing, capitation, payroll, banking, and operational systems.
• Build and manage accounting functions and a geographically dispersed team of approximately 10 people while improving close timelines, compliance, documentation, and process discipline.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience, including Controller-level experience in a healthcare services organization.
• Experience in roll-up or multi-entity environments and integrating acquired businesses into centralized accounting operations.
• Deep knowledge of fee-for-service, capitation/PMPM, delegated or global risk, and value-based healthcare revenue models.
• Experience improving close timelines, implementing ERP systems, and building scalable accounting infrastructure in high-growth environments.
• Strong technical accounting expertise across entities, states, revenue streams, tax, regulatory filings, and healthcare reporting requirements.
• Hands-on leadership, strong cross-functional communication, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguity while designing scalable systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with risk-bearing entities, value-based care arrangements, MSOs, provider groups, or health plans.
• Experience with cloud ERP, embedded analytics, BI, workflow tools, and data-quality initiatives.
